DateTimeLock is a simple utility that disables the Date & Time Preferences panel, thus preventing the device user from changing the date or time. When the user attempts to access the Date & Time Preferences panel, DateTimeLock simply displays a message informing them that this function is disabled.

It is designed for use in a corporate environment where users are not allowed to change device time & date as a policy. Firms that rely on accurate dates and times (for example on time/date stamped barcode data) often want to ensure that users do not change the device date/time as a means of altering recorded data. DateTimeLock is designed specifically for this situation.
